An immersive journey through the history and soul of Alfama, culminating in an intimate fado concert.
Created by the team behind the iconic Mesa de Frades, the Lisboa ao Entardecer experience begins with a guided walk through the historic alleyways of Alfama. The tour includes a welcoming stop at Bifana do Bairro for a classic bifana or a freshly baked pastel de nata, paired with traditional ginjinha.
The route leads to an intimate forty-seat concert room, where a multi-language audiovisual presentation introduces the rich history and evolution of fado. This is followed by a live performance under the artistic direction of guitarist Pedro de Castro, featuring the renowned musicians and singers of Mesa de Frades. An accessible and unforgettable cultural experience in the heart of Lisbon.
