Azulejos – Ceramic Tiles

Tiles are famous items you can buy from Lisbon. Azulejos are colorful, patterned ceramic tiles found on many Portuguese buildings including many landmarks all over Lisbon, especially in Alfama. You can visit the national tile museum, Museu Nacional Do Azulejo to discover more about tile making. You can buy tiles individually both hand-painted and factory-made, to use as simple art pieces or coasters.
